NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake addressed the Sri Lankan community in Toronto, Canada yesterday (23).
The meeting at Toronto Pavilion at Railside Road, North York began at 3.00 pm.
Among those present to hear him speak was singer Kithsiri Jayasekara, the brother of MP Dayasiri Jayasekara.
A party representative said the meeting was a big success, with Dissanayake answering the questions raised by the participants, comprising Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim communities.
The next meeting is due today at Massey Theatre at 8th Lane, New Westminster, starting at 2.30 pm.
