East governor Senthil Thondaman has assisted Ampara youths rehabilitated for drug use to start self-employment ventures.
At his official residence on 18 March, he handed over Rs. 50,000 each for farming and dairy, carpentry and welding.
The district’s DIG and other police officials were in attendance.
