The SJB has planned a project to help the poor to come out of the dependency mentality and for poverty elimination, said opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
The project will grant resources to half of each household categorized as poor for consumption, investment, saving and production, he said.
He was speaking after donating a bus to Thalawa Maha Vidyalaya in Kalawewa today (13),
This project will be allied to an export-oriented economic system that could bring earnings in dollars, Premadasa added.
