The last will of the late Ronnie de Mel has accommodated a funeral speech by the late Mangala Samaraweera.
The document was referred to Mel’s private secretary K.H. Wilfred by the University of Ruhuna on 06 January 2020.
It said funeral orations should be delivered by the president, prime minister, opposition leader, MEP leader Dinesh Gunawardena and Samaraweera representing Matara district.
The remains of the former finance minister were due to be taken to Ruhuna University yesterday evening (29).
