A man was arrested for sexually abusing a woman police constable attached to the Children & Women's Bureau headquarters.
The suspect, a 43 year-old man from Madulawa, Padukka is a clerk of the Engineering Corporation.
Police investigations revealed that the WPC had been sexually abused while she was travelling home on a bus after work.
