Chief custodian of Ruhunu Kataragama Devale, Somipala T. Ratnayake, has gone missing, according to a complaint lodged by his two daughters and a grandchild.
They complained to Kataragama police on 23 December that a couple, close to the family, were behind his disappearance.
The CCD is investigating Ratnayake over a missing gold plate offered to the Devale by the wife of the underworld leader known as ‘Angoda Lokka.’
