Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa told parliament today (30) that it was wrong to harbor officials who had neglected their duties and allowed the Easter Sunday terror attacks to take place.
A government under him will strictly deal with those officials, he said, adding that the struggle to ensure justice for the victims of the terror attacks was not over.
Premadasa referred to the unfulfilled promises and unproductive debates on the matter, and said his proposal for an opposition-chaired commission similar to the one that probed the 9/11 attacks in the US had been ignored.
