Time has come now more than ever to embrace November heroes in our hearts, said leader of the JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday (13).
The annual remembrance for the party’s founding leader Rohana Wijeweera and others who laid down their lives took place at the Youth Services Council in Maharagama.
Also present on the occasion were JVP secretary Tilvyn Silva, Sunil Handunnetti, Bimal Ratnayake and other party officials.
Speaking further, Dissanayake said the NPP was organizing the masses, while the JVP would add spirituality to that movement.
For that purpose, let us embrace November heroes now in our hearts more than ever and add their essence to our spirituality, he added.
