A cabinet subcommittee yesterday (13) summoned Sri Lanka Cricket president Shammi Silva to the Presidential Secretariat for a meeting.
The focus of the discussion was the K.T. Chitrasiri report that proposes a new constitution for SLC by way a parliamentary act.
The cabinet subcommittee headed by Foreign Minister Ali Sabri is tasked with recommending measures to speedily resolve issues in cricket.
Its other members are Ministers Tiran Alles, Kanchana Wijesekara and Manusha Nanayakkara.
