An investigation is underway into the finding of a human finger piece from a chocolate bought from the canteen of Mahiyangana Hospital.
A female hospital staffer bought the chocolate yesterday (06).
The MoH of Mahiyangana has given instructions for an investigation after the hospital officer lodged a complaint.
The matter will be reported to the Mahiyangana magistrate’s court tomorrow.
