The home of a Sri Lankan family at Keysborough, Melbourne in Australia was attacked by thugs last Saturday.
Four persons clad in black and armed with sharp weapons carried out the attack, according to CCTV footage.
The head of the family reacted to the attackers, who fled in a car, all of which were photographed as well.
The man has told the media that the thugs had intended to steal his vehicle.
One suspect, aged 17, has already been taken into custody.
