A distribution of ‘Kalama Sutta’ took place on Adi Esala full moon poya day yesterday (03) in a campaign in support of stand-up comedian Natasha Edirisooriya.
A group including members of the Radical Centre distributed the copies at Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kelaniya Rajamaha Vihara and Bellanwila Rajamaha Vihara.
The objective was to wish for an early release of Edirisooriya who remains in remand custody over allegations of having insulted Lord Buddha and that Buddhists be compassionate and have correct judgment.
