A SriLankan flight bound for Narita, Japan was forced to return to Katunayake last night (28) due to a technical fault.
The Airbus A330-300, the biggest in the fleet of the airline, departed at 7.50 pm, carrying 301 passengers and crew.
Just hours later, its pilot found a failure in the wheels system and directed the flight back.
Later, the passengers were directed to Narita by other flights.
