President Ranil Wickremesinghe will tour India on July 20 for talks with premier Narendra Modi and other top Indian political figures, political sources said.
He is also expected to inform Modi about his readiness to hold local government polls.
Wickremesinghe departs next weekend on a visit to Europe and will be back on June 26.
