The leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) Mano Ganesan has rejected a news report that he was planning to propose the formation of a national government.
He tweeted, “I totally deny the contents of the unscrupulous news item quoting me that I would jointly put forward a proposal to form a national government in parliament on April 25.”
“This ‘news’ is fabrication & falsehood,” said the MP.
He also said the TPA, being a component party of the opposition SJB alliance, continues to remain as such.
“Our politburo has not met nor discussed or arrived at any decision to be part of any government, national or otherwise,” Ganesan added.
