At least six opposition lawmakers are likely to join the government this week after Parliament sittings resume on April 04, reports ‘Deshaya’ newspaper.
Quoting very reliable sources, it said they would include a novice MP from Colombo, two seniors from Kalutara, another from Badulla and two more from minority parties.
More crossovers are expected along with them by several independent MPs.
Included among the others are a few from the SLPP, with the government making plans to start a new alliance together with them all.
