The UNP has approval from its working committee to formulate a new constitution for the party.
The WC met yesterday afternoon (17), chaired by its leader, president Ranil Wickremesinghe, at Sirikotha.
It appointed a committee comprising Thilak Marapana, Daya Pelpola, Ronald Perera and Nissanka Nanayakkara to formulate the party constitution.
