The French government has agreed to support the training of Sri Lankan police personnel.
France’s new ambassador in Colombo Jean-François Pactet extended this support when he met with public security minister Tiran Alles today (01).
Ambassador Pactet also said he fully supported further strengthening of bilateral relations.
The two discussed preventing Sri Lankans from entering French territories illegally as well.
