M.K. Narayan Swami’s third book on the LTTE - ‘The Tiger Vanquished – LTTE’s Story’ - has recently been translated to Sinhala by Chanaka Tilakaratne.
According to the book, a main contributory factor towards the LTTE’s military defeat had been the breakaway of key leader Karuna Amman from the outfit.
That was prompted by the peace accord signed in 2002 between the then prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.
