Displeased by the minor cabinet reshuffle, ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa has telephoned incumbent Ranil Wickremesinghe and took up the matter during a lengthy conversation, Asian Mirror reported.
Rajapaksa was unhappy that portfolios given to the SLPP were suddenly transferred to two SLFP ministers.
“It is the SLPP that supports you to govern and to keep your position. Do not forget that,” he has told Wickremesinghe.
