SLPP MP for Colombo Jagath Kumara Sumitrarachchi has reportedly decided to join the SJB in support of its presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa.
The SJB leader has already decided to appoint Sumitrarachchi as chief coordinator on affairs relating to poverty alleviation and the Samurdhi movement.
Presently, he is secretary of the Association of Samurdhi Development and Agricultural Research Production Assistants.
