Sarvajana Balawegaya presidential candidate Dilith Jayaweera met voters in a campaign that will cover 2,000 villages.
He said he would rather go and meet the people under ‘Gedarata Payana Tharuwa’ than holding rallies at huge expenses.
Meeting the people, discussing their matters and distributing leaflets and his strategic plan would be part of that exercise, he said.
Jayaweera was accompanied in the visits by executive committee member of the alliance Anuradha Yahampath and other activists.
He was warmly welcomed at Bloemendhal, Colombo as he toured urban housing complexes during the campaign.
