Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MPs Sarathi Dushmantha and Angajan Ramanathan have expressed their support for incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming Presidential Election.
MPs Dushmantha and Ramanathan represented the SLFP’s faction led by former President Maithripala Sirisena.
Kegalle District MP Duahmantha Mithrapala and Jaffna District MP Angajan Ramanathan met President Wickremesinghe at his political office on Flower Road, Colombo this morning (23) and have pledged their support for his victory in the upcoming presidential election.
Ramanathan is the SLFP’s former Senior Vice Chairman while Mithrapala is the former Acting General Secretary of the SLFP (Maithripala faction).
