Presidential candidate Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe is to take the Election Commission to courts over its decision to cap the campaign expenses at Rs. 109 per voter.
He said an order would be sought from the Supreme Court that the ceiling should be on or around Rs. 20.
Speaking to the media in Tangalle yesterday (20), Rajapakshe said the EC has come in the way of holding a free and fair election.
