A former head of several state-owned entities, Vijitha Herath, has joined the Freedom People’s Council (FPC) led by Dullas Ahalapperuma.
Herath was the chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka Insurance and Litro Gas, and functioned as the president of the engineers’ front of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna too.
Yesterday (19), he met Alahapperuma, Prof. G.L. Peiris, Prof. Charitha Herath and other FPC MPs at their office at Nawala and extended his support to them.
