Four presidential candidates have confirmed participation in the live debate on 07 September organized by March 12 Movement.
They are SJB’s Sajith Premadasa, SLPP’s Namal Rajapaksa, CPSL’s Dilith Jayaweera and independent candidate P. Ariyanethran.
Independent candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe has declined to take part.
NPP’s Anura Kumara Dissanayake is yet to inform organizers about his decision.
The first round of the debate takes place at the BMICH.
In the second and third rounds on 08 and 09 September, a total of 12 candidates have confirmed participation, said March 12.
Voters have been asked to submit questions to be asked from the candidates, which will be selected by a committee, according to divaina.lk.
