President Ranil Wickremesinghe has told the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) that he will dissolve parliament immediately and go for a general election if it does not support him to govern the country.
He has responded to the party’s leadership which has constantly been crying injustice about cabinet positions.
Wickremesinghe has stressed that he would not increase minister to waste public money further at a time when they are in grave difficulties.
No new portfolios were given, except a change in ministries, he added.
