Ex-president Gotabaya Rajapaksa, accompanied by his private secretary Sugeeswara Bandara, went to Respect House at Jayaratne Florists in Borella to pay last respects to actor Jackson Anthony.
After extending his condolences to the bereaving family, Rajapaksa conversed with those present there, including several artistes.
One of them was actress Nilmini Tennakoon, from whom Rajapaksa inquired, “Nilmini, How’re you? Where is Madhu?”
Nilmini gave him a smile without answering.
Nilmini and Madhumadava Aravinda have been living separately for a long time now.
