The long awaited 2023 Global Study Program for 'Future Leaders' from the Indo-Pacific Region will be conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taipei, Taiwan from the 13th-19th of December.
Renowned scholar, entrepreneur and leading businessman, Dr. Arosha Fernando has been selected to represent Sri Lanka.
High powered representatives from over 30 countries are confirmed to participate in this year's program.
Since 2005, Dr. Fernando has held many senior government positions in Sri Lanka including as the Coordinating Secretary to State Tourism Ministry, Coordinating Secretary to State Transport Ministry, Senior Presidential Advisor on Telecommunications attached to the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), Working Director of ITN and Lakhanda Radio and Senior Advisor to Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
Dr. Fernando currently serves as the Chairman of one of the leading foreign investment arms in the country, Lakma Holdings Limited, as well as four other multinational companies.
