SLPP presidential candidate Namal Rajapaksa has pledged to bring about a technical revolution if he gains power.
Unemployment will be eliminated and youth will be made agricultural entrepreneurs, he said at a function near Dambulla economic centre yesterday afternoon (16).
Former Dambulla mayor Jaliya Opatha organized a reception there for Rajapaksa, who had been on his way from Anuradhapura to Kandy.
Receiving a warm welcome there, Rajapaksa walked with the people for some distance and spoke to journalists too.
