The SLPP fully supports incumbent Ranil Wickremesinghe if he is prepared to go along with the party at the presidential polls, said its leader Mahinda Rajapaksa.
He was speaking to the media following a meeting of the party’s election coordination committee.
Rajapaksa said they were now back on the winning path with a SLPP regime coming next.
“Once announced, you will realise how powerful our candidate is. We always fielded a common candidate,” he added.
