UNP National organiser and Cabinet Minister Naveen Dissanayake has welcomed the decision taken by UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe to name UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa as the United National Front's presidential candidate.
"All issues resolved....Deputy leader Sajith Premadasa will be the candidate of the UNF and we will definitely work hard untiringly for his victory... congratulations SP", Minister Dissanayake said in a Facebook post just a short while ago
The decision had been taken during the special meeting held today morning (26) at the Temple Trees. The meeting had been attended by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and a number of other Ministers and MPs.
