The mother of opposition leader receives no special privilege from the government, said secretary of the SJB’s youth front Kanishka Lanerolle.
At a media briefing, he responded to certain claims attributed to the JVP.
As the widow of a president, Hema Premadasa is entitled to an official vehicle, quarters, security backup vehicle etc., but even today she lives in a private house, Lanerolle claimed.
Before accusing others, the JVP should do justice by the widow and children of its founder leader Rohana Wijeweera, he added.
