The Supreme Court today (03) issued an interim order preventing the treasury secretary and the attorney general from withholding any funds allocated for holding local government polls 2023.
A three-judge bench was taking up a fundamental rights petition filed by SJB general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
It issued another interim order that prevents withholding funds to the Government Press to print ballot papers.
