Election commission chairman Nimal Punchihewa says arrangements are being made to hold local government polls on March 09 as scheduled.
He has told BBC Sandeshaya the task was challenging, but that he was facing it without undergoing any stress.
Punchihewa added that he was yet to be officially intimated about any EC member having resigned.
