Sri Lankans are among 27 illegal migrants arrested by Romania’s border police after they tried to cross the border illegally into Hungary.
The Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, Eritrean and Pakistani nationals were hiding inside two trucks loaded with textile fabrics and metal rods.
One track had 17 from Bangladesh and Eritrea, aged 21 to 67.
Eleven other migrants from Sri Lanka and Pakistan, aged between 21 and 42 were also found in a truck loaded with metal bars.
