Former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga says a government with a clear-cut vision is required for nation-building.
She was speaking at a public rally organized by MP Jayaratne Herath for New Lanka Freedom Party in Kurunegala.
Kumaratunga also said a young leadership is needed to build the country.
The message given by ‘Aragalaya’ will never be forgotten, she said, adding that it was a historic and never-to-be-forgotten occurrence that turned the entire country and its administration upside down.
Its message was that the country needed a new leadership and a new vision through a radical political change, Kumaratunga added.
