The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) holds its annual convention at Campbell Park in Colombo today (11) starting at 2.00 pm.
Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa chairs the event that is taking place with a call to join hands to escape ruin.
Thousands of party supporters will attend the event that will initiate the SJB’s campaign for the upcoming local government polls, said its general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
The party’s media spokesman S.M. Marikkar said the convention will be streamed live via facebook.
