Abisheka Fernando was adjudged YouTube presenter of the year at the New Generation Awards 2022 held recently.
It was jointly organized by Women in Management and the National Youth Services Council.
Fernando, who works for the YouTube channel SLVLOG is a well-known social media figure.
Awards were presented in a number of categories.
The Next Generation Awards aim to shine a spotlight on the next generation of ground-breaking young leadership and focus more on new careers and entrepreneurships, said chairperson of Women in Management Dr. Sulochana Sigera.
