A youth remains in critical condition after he was severely assaulted during the police onslaught against yesterday’s (24) protest by the Socialist Youth Union in Colombo.
Seven persons in all have been hospitalized following the attack.
Priyantha Pushpakumara of Kitulgala is warded at the neuro trauma emergency treatment unit of the Colombo National Hospital, Journalists for Democracy – Sri Lanka tweeted.
