The Jathika Jana Balawegaya (JJB) is not opposed to the opening of doors for foreign students to receive education in local institutions, said its MP Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
However, local students should first be provided the facilities they require, before allowing foreign students, she said in response to a proposal in this regard contained in the interim budget 2022.
Dr. Amarasuriya went on to say that the budget proposals cannot be implemented without a stable government.
