The Trade Union Coordinating Center says that a continuous strike will be launched in all services in the country except health from 4.00 pm today (9).
The health service will also go on strike from 12.00 midnight today, said union leader Ravi Kumudesh.
Speaking from the media centre at the protest site in front of the presidential secretariat, Kumudesh said that the decision was taken jointly by all trade unions.
Meanwhile, the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) says that a trade union action will be declared until 8 am tomorrow (May 10) in retaliation to the heinous attacks that were carried out on the public today.
