The Presidential Task Force appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to present proposals for formulating a conceptual framework ideally suited for Sri Lanka after making a study of the “One Country, One Law” concept, has decided to call for public opinions and suggestions.

In a release, the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero said that suggestions from a wide range of bodies, groups and individuals across society, that would be helpful in the Presidential Task Force’s study of the implementation of the concept “One Country, One Law” within Sri Lanka could be sent to - This email address is being protected from spambots. Gnanasara Thero's call for public opinion comes in the wake of a new Extraordinary Gazette Notification issued by President's Secretary Dr. P.B. Jayasundera on 6 November with amendments to the Presidential Task Force on ‘One Country, One Law’ appointed by the President.
